BOARD HEAT EXCHANGERS, DISASSEMBLED

Principle of the disassembled exchanger :

The disassembled board heat exchanger consists of set of boards lined one after another fastened together by means of screws between the fixed and the pressure board.

Each board is provided with a sealing which creates the system of separated channels for flowing through of primary and secondary media. The boards are embossed so that an extensive turbulence is created in the flowing media which enhances the heat transfer. It can be stated that the board heat exchangers have several times higher effectiveness than the tube ones.

Boards:

SIGMA boards as the basic build elements render the excellent thermodynamic properties to the TENEZ exchangers. The functional surface is polished which together with highly turbulent circulation creates conditions for minimised creation of sediments and pollution.

The route of media in the set of boards depends on the thermodynamic requirements for the exchanger. To meet the requirements of customers and the operational conditions of technologies, the SIGMA boards are used with several types of embossing. The combination of various perforated boards and variety of sizes with parallel or serial sequence of inter-board channels enables to reach the optimum parameters in operation of the equipment.

Materials:

composition and temperature of media at the heat exchange determine the material the boards are made of :

  • Titanium 3.7025. 3.7225
  • SMO 254
  • Alloy C 276

Sealing materials:

Upon usage of exchangers with sealing it is necessary to keep various rules in dependence on the temperature and medium used. At permanent overrun of temperature, the sealing grows old very quickly.

The sealing is attached either by bonding with special glues or by a mechanical system of fastening.

Stands :

The stands of exchangers are designed for various operational pressures from 6 to 25 bar. The surface finish at whole-stainless stands is executed by polishing or ballotini, while the stands made of carbon steel are protected by RAL 5010 painting.

Accessories:

According to the requirements of technology of operation, requirements and EU standards, the exchangers may be equipped with reservoirs, desodorizators, hot-water circuits, steam mixers, pumps, fittings, dwells, testing cocks, etc.

Control

The control level is supplied according to the request, the manual with compulsory regulation of pasteurizing temperature, the semi-automatic using the remote valves or completely automatic control / Mitsubishi, Omron, Siemens, Allen Bradley/.

Connection:

According to DIN 11851, Clamp, flange connection, possibly joining by means of pipe thread.

Cleaning and maintenance:

The great advantage of the exchangers of this structure is the possibility to be disassembled. Cleaning may be performed chemically by flushing with chemical agent or mechanically, in case the sealing is damaged it can be replaced.

The following parameters create basis for calculations:

  • operational heat mode
  • flowing-through quantity or the quantity of the heat passed on
  • operational pressure mode, possible limitations of admissible pressure losses
  • flowing-through media or their physical properties
