The TENEZ company attended the international agricultural fair - Země živitelka – within the display grounds of the Federation of the Food and Drink Industries of the Czech Republic (FFDI) in České Budějovice. The joint display grounds were located within the Hall B4 with the total area of 74 m2 to support promotion of local quality products.
This 37th year of Země živitelka Fair was held at the exhibition grounds in České Budějovice in the period between 26th and 31st August 2010 in the spirit of the traditional motto: “The Future of Czech Agriculture and Countryside“. Throughout its entire existence, this trade fair has become one of the most significant agricultural fairs in the Czech Republic. The regular attendance by foreign exhibitors and businessmen belongs to the positive factors.
The actual nomenclature of this fair included the entire sector of agricultural and food processing industries with the focus on development of countryside for several years. There were presentations reflecting the most recent trends related to life and work in the countryside as well as particular regions.
The opening ceremony in the Brewery Garden (Pivovarská zahrada) was attended by the president of the Czech Republic, prof. Václav Klaus, the Minister of Agriculture - Ing. Ivan Fuksa, the President of the Agrarian Chamber of the Czech Republic - Ing. Jan Veleba and the President of the Food and Drink Industries of the Czech Republic (FFDI) - Ing. Miroslav Toman. The trade fair was also attended by members of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and senators. The venue also hosted the governor of the South Bohemian Region - Mgr. Jiří Zimola and the Lord Mayor of České Budějovice - Doc. RNDr. Miroslav Tetter, CSc.
