Welded plate heat exchangers are a unique product of our company and they fulfil demanding criteria concerning structure compactness and corrosion resistance.

Welded heat exchangers

A welded plate heat exchanger is used for heating and cooling of a wide range of media, including very aggressive chemicals. They might be used in the chemical, pharmaceutical and power industry.
Heat transfer takes place by means of plates, whose shape is optimized for high performance and pressure drop in design according to the customer's requirement. This way it's possible to transmit high thermal performance with minimum installation dimensions. The plates are joined by welding in a protective atmosphere without the use of sealing and soldering.

The heat exchanger body consists of single plates, to be able to separate the media, and is joined by welding in a protective atmosphere.The material used for the heat exchanger plates is austenitic steel, alternatively, super austenitic steels, duplex steels, nickel, titanium and tantalum alloys.

The actual heat exchanger body is withdrawn between the covers, the manufacture is offered either in the form of fully welded or in bolted covers. The covers are made of structural steel (with painted finish), or austenitic steel (with glass bead blasted finish).Connection of the exchangers to the mountings is carried out using threaded bar, flanges, or according to the customer's requirement.
